I’m a lifestyle family photography based in Abu Dhabi.
I started my career in travel & tourism marketing which opened the doors to a world of perks – the kind that can make any travel enthusiast swoon. Exotic destinations, cultural immersion, and the promise of adventure were all part of the package.
Fast forward to a defining moment – moving overseas for our first stint as expats. It became the catalyst for a creative shift. The corporate allure of travel suddenly paled in comparison to the magic of capturing moments through the lens.
So I traded in boardrooms for sunsets and deadlines for candid smiles. The decision to move from marketing to photography wasn’t just a career move; it was a soulful choice. It was about telling stories with images and freezing time in the most enchanting way possible.
My husband, two spirited boys, and I are Australian expats with a knack for embracing the unexpected. We’ve lived in the Philippines, and now, Abu Dhabi is our sandpit. With my husband on a three-year contract (though our track record says otherwise), we’ve learned not to plan too far ahead. We’re here to savor the now and relish the moments.
Speaking of moments, I’ll let you in on a little secret – I’m an expert at hiding from the camera. The irony is not lost on me! But, for the love of creating memories, I’ve decided to ditch the worries about wrinkles and weight. I’m on a mission to be in the frame, ensuring that when my boys flip through our family album, they remember a mum who was right there beside them, having a blast.
